Escape From The Planet Of The Apes Movie Watch Online

PLANET OF THE APES SERIES IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDERDoes the person who compiled the above list know the definition of the word “chronological”? It means the chronological order in regards to the story line. True but the Icarus set of chain of events so history Of the ape uprising has been re- written. So the story line begins with the Icarus The Planet of the Apes. Caesar wasn’t the first talking ape, a chimpanzee named, Aldo was as told by Cornelius in Escape, and the accurate history and date was never given but it was probably around the time that Caesar existed only he did it first.

That’s why in Rise Caesar says No! That was the first spoken word by an ape. This new version starts the sequence using science but is loosely based on Monkey Planet and the original Conquest, but you also see the Icarus lift off with Col. Taylor. Very smart writing .@Tuere, yes I do.@Justin, yes it does!

However, best to watch them in the order they were made. Escape… is chronologically (within the story’s universe) the earliest film, but it is not a prequel. It only makes sense if you’ve watched the first two film Planet of the Apes, and Beneath the Planet of the Apes.

Looking at the latest trailers for Rise of the Planet of the Apes and I for one cannot wait! I was thinking the same thing, does 1. I am confused. Hi Bob, Maybe I will edit this post to explain a bit more. By ‘chronological order’ I mean I have rearranged the films in the order in which the story takes place. Planet Of The Apes was the first film to be made, but chronologically it is set way in the future, then Beneath The Planet Of The Apes is a direct sequel that picks up directly after the first film. However, in Escape From Planet of the Apes, two of the apes have travelled back in time to the 7. Conquest and Battle take place after the events of Escape but before the events of Planet Of The Apes and Beneath The Planet Of The Apes.

Hence, chronologically, the events of Escape From The Planet Of The Apes take place first, while Beneath is the final chapter of the story. It is quite confusing to explain but hopefully this makes more sense! When I did a search on my search engine of choice, I meant the STORY chronology for which the Simon posted. Basically, I applaud him because this was the chronological order I was searching, the story line order and not the production at the theater order. Thank you, Simn. Kudos. Good job!! d: )Hey Simon, I just watched Rise of the Planet of the Apes and it got me real interrest in the other, but beings ive never seen them i was trying to make sure i watched them in the right order, is the list above the right one ? Hiya, I would watch them in the order they were released. So that would be Planet of the Apes, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Escape From the Planet of the Apes, and then Conquest of… and Battle For… It’s kind of a circular plot. So even though Escape from Planet of the Apes is the origin story and takes place first chronologically (it gives a completely different explanation compared with Rise of the Planet of the Apes), it’s also a sequel, so you need to see Planet of the Apes and Beneath the Planet of the Apes for it to make sense. Enjoy! So then does Rise of the…come after Battle for…then Dawn of? I remember watching this as a TV show way back when they were creating dirt…ha ha…and it wasn’t that popular then…now everywhere you turn, there’s a monkey looking you in the face.

I’m getting the whole series…just wanted to make sure I didn’t miss anything.@Simon. I understood the first Post u made thanks. What about the 2.

Hi Turner, Absolutely not! It’s a separate film and nothing to do with the original series of films. An interesting way of looking at the same idea but has an ending that doesn’t really make sense (to me anyway). If it’s successful and makes lots of money then that is inevitable! Just watched the “Rise of the planet of the Apes”. It all falls into place… Absolutely bring on more “Ape” movies. Stunning cgi… Runs rings around the Hobbits!!

I will seed…first of all there is no chronological order. I am chuck norris I have counted to infinity twice, so I know my way around time. Thanks for reading. I’d say there certainly is a chronological order, it’s just it’s more of a circular timeline. The apes travel back in time from the planet of the apes, thus creating the intelligent ape that leads the revolution that leads to the planet of the apes. In a similar way to the Terminator timeline, where Kyle Reese is sent back in time by the man who he eventually fathers!

I agree totally. It is a circular timeline…in fact in my re- edited versions, I have re- titled “Escape” to “Birth of the Planet of the Apes”Hey Ramjet, just so you know the hobbits in the original film were not cgi they were flipbook characters. Unless you were talking of the more recent lord of the rings movies, in which the hobbits were not even animated, were are not going to count golum, cause over several hundred years he de- hobbitized himself. It is a waste watching a movie with that good of special affects if the quality is awful. So wait for a good version.

LOTR fan” means Lord of the rings fan, the name space does not give you room to write the whole thing. Just so you guys know there are several truths in this world. Chuck Norris is awesome. Macs are better than PCs. TV show. 5. Watermelon is the best fruit. Lol… #2, #3, #4, and #5 are extremely wrong. Absolutely correct… 2,3,4,5 are completely off.

When you say circular timeline, do you mean the events of the films carry on going round infinetely? Simon. Your interpretation of the chronolgy of the planet of the apes story line is incorrect. The events of Escape follow the destruction of the earth at the end of Beneath. Cornelius, Zira and Dr.

Milo escape the destruction of earth caused by the detonation of the atomic bomb in Beneath. They even escape on the repaired spacecraft from the Original Planet of the Apes…. This could happen , apes could evolve could rule the planeterrrmmm…. I think were top of the food chain hehe xx. Wrong. Escape is last. Although it takes place in the ’7. WOULD HAVE taken place, it is really the last, as it follows the story of the heros of Beneath, who have travelled back in time after the events of the previous films have occurred.

It begins an entirely new timeline, not represented in the other films. Unlike some time travel universes, where the leap back actually necessitated itself (and all the events which led to it). It’s absolutely not the last and not a new timeline, as Conquest and Battle are a direct continuation of events in Escape! Okay, wait. We’re BOTH wrong. Or not. Maybe I should just watch the films?!

LOL! It looks like they form a perfect loop, so you could really start anywhere (all of the films reference “prior” events which occurred in the other films), but it’s probably best to watch them in the order they were made. Yep it’s a more of a circular timeline than a branching one.

Definitely need to watch them in the order they were made. Actually, I don’t think it is circular. In the original film the great emancipator of the apes is an orangutan.

After Zera, and Cornellius go back in time their son Caesar (a chimpanzee)leads the revolution that frees the apes. Thus, after the conquest of the planet of the apes, the final films shows a slightly different ape/human relationship in that the humans and the apes are now fighting together the group of humans that are beneath the planet of the apes and defeat them. So, when the apes go back they change their own past so that they are now in a different time line. Its like Star Wars. It began with episode IV, then V, then VI which was the natural finish to the story, but went back to fill in episodes I, II and III (the prequels) because the others made so much money. After Planet of the Apes and Beneath the Planet of the Apes they made the three prequels because the first two made so much money. Oh yes and they explained a lot.

Oh Yes. Your comment is awaiting moderation. Its like Star Wars.
